A Powerful Chloroxylenol Based Hospital Antiseptic

5% Chloroxylenol Solution

  • Forms dense white emulsion on dilution
  • Offers long term residual activity
  • Stable between 0°C and 40°C

Antiseptic for use in areas such as first aid, midwifery, personal and hospital hygiene.

First Aid: For cuts, bites, abrasions and insect stings. Wash the affected area with 30mL diluted in one L of water, and cover with dry gauze or lint.

Midwifery: For external antisepsis, use 60 mL diluted in one L of water

Personal Hygiene: For bathing, use 30 mL-50 mL added to bath water. (Not recommended for use on babies under 9 months old, except on medical advice).

Household Use:

  • Laundry: 30 mL to 1 L of water
  • Cleaning: 10 mL to 1 L of water
  • Toilets, Sinks and Drains: Use neat

Not recommended for use on surfaces where food is prepared or served.

Passes European (BS EN1276) quantitative suspension test for the evaluation of bactericidal activity of chemical disinfectants and antiseptics used in food, industrial, domestic and institutional areas.

Passes European (BS EN1499) test for the evaluation of bactericidal activity of pre-operative surgical scrubs and antiseptics used in hospital, community medical facilities and in dental institutions.
