DEFRA Approved Disinfectant For Diseases of Poultry Order: Neogen® Viroxide Super
Neogen® Viroxide Super, developed by Quat-Chem Ltd in the United Kingdom, is now DEFRA approved for Diseases of Poultry (DoP) orders; and with General Orders also in place, also conforms to the disinfectant requirements for the British Lion Quality mark for egg production and assured chicken production scheme for broiler flocks.
Neogen Viroxide Super is a broad spectrum disinfectant proven effective against diseases of poultry including avian influenza and Newcastle disease; and can be used as part of a poultry farm biosecurity protocol for terminal disinfection, continuous disinfection, drinking water treatment and emergency disease control.
With the support of Neogen, Quat-Chem Ltd has undertaken continual investment in the efficacy testing of Neogen Viroxide Super, to provide broiler, layer and breeding flock farmers with a market leading disinfectant for all areas of a poultry farm.
Neogen Viroxide Super can be used for general disinfection of housing, equipment, vehicles, foot dips and aerial fogging and misting applications. It is also approved by DEFRA for foot and mouth disease, swine vesicular disease.
